where it began
The iconic name of our design firm is derived from two people who made a profound impact on our lives: our grandfathers. Slavik and Ralph were both entrepreneurs in their own fields, each carving their own path through resilience, hard work, and an unwavering belief in building something better.
Slavik was an immigrant from Ukraine who came to America with little more than determination. He worked countless jobs before deciding to start his own business, taking a leap that shaped generations after him. Sofia proudly carries the lessons he taught her about perseverance, independence, and what it truly means to build something from the ground up. Ralph’s entrepreneurial spirit followed a different path but was rooted in the same grit. He began his career delivering milk in Houston before returning to his hometown of Anderson in his late twenties to start his own dairy farm. Trenton’s drive, work ethic, and commitment to honest work are a direct reflection of Ralph’s legacy.
who we are
It all started through sheer delusion and a whole lot of determination... and yes, the occasional margarita. Trenton and Sofia met while working at an architecture firm in Austin and quickly realized there had to be a better way to run a design business, one rooted in integrity, openness, and respect for both clients and employees.
Trenton and Sofia are best friends, and they realized they shared not just a love for design, but a deep belief in the power of thoughtful spaces to transform people’s lives. From the way a kitchen can bring a family together, to how a calm, functional bedroom can create moments of peace; they see design as more than just aesthetics, it’s about shaping experiences and supporting the way people live, work, and connect.
They wanted to create a firm that didn’t just decorate homes, but helped clients tell their stories through space. That means building meaningful, lasting relationships, really listening to people, and translating goals, personalities, and lifestyles into homes that truly feel like them.
Now, they’re growing their team - still best friends, still a little delusional, and fully committed to creating spaces that matter - spaces people don’t just live in, but genuinely love and thrive in.
